Maintenance Supervisor (Full Time)

The Maintenance Supervisor oversees the daily activities of maintenance personnel and service contractors to ensure the efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of facility systems, grounds, buildings, and related equipment. This position is responsible for coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance activities, supervising maintenance staff, and supporting facility improvement and construction projects. The Maintenance Supervisor works closely with the Director of Facilities to prioritize work orders, manage resources, and maintain safe, functional facilities.

• Direct and supervise daily maintenance operations and assigned personnel.
• Coordinate and oversee the work of outside contractors and service providers.
• Perform and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance on building systems and equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical system malfunctions and determine appropriate corrective actions.
• Prioritize, assign, and monitor work orders to ensure timely completion.
• Support construction, renovation, and equipment installation projects.
• Inspect facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.
• Ensure compliance with applicable safety standards, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with staff, vendors, customers, and leadership regarding maintenance activities and project status.
• Collaborate with the Director of Facilities on departmental planning, budgeting, and project coordination.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical, vocational, or trade school training in HVAC, mechanical systems, facilities maintenance, or a related field preferred.

• Demonstrated ability to analyze and diagnose system malfunctions across a variety of mechanical equipment and building systems.
• Previous experience in facility maintenance, building operations, or mechanical systems maintenance.
• Prior supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.

• Ability to lead, direct, and motivate maintenance employees.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of building maintenance practices, equipment, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with employees, contractors, vendors, and customers.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

• Valid driver's license preferred (if position requires travel between facilities).

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, and lift equipment and materials as required.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying environmental conditions.
• Ability to safely operate maintenance tools and equipment.
