Our client, a large and established organization, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their accounting team. This role will support core accounting functions including month-end close, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports and business insights for management and executive leadership.
• Partner with finance and cross-functional teams on budgeting, planning, and ad hoc analysis.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Contribute to process improvements and special projects as the organization continues to modernize.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Experience with general accounting functions including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Proficiency with accounting systems and Excel.
