Cost Accounting Intern

• Assist with fiscal year-end activities and month-end closings
• Complete account reconciliations
• Assist in generating schedules for the fiscal year-end audit
• Review actual-to-budget results and provide explanations for variances
• Assist in setting standard product costs and analyzing changes
• Update transfer prices in SAP
• Assist with cost modeling and make/buy decisions

• In-process of a bachelor’s or advanced degree in accounting or related field
• Highly organized and willing to learn end-to-end process improvement skills
• Able to follow standard instructions, practices and procedures
• Self-motivated, team player, detail oriented
• Able to meet required deadlines
• Ability to work independently with high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Good Microsoft Office skills
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Share Point
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis

Demonstrates strong accounting skills with a focus on fiscal year-end activities, account reconciliations, and cost modeling. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and SharePoint, with a commitment to accuracy and detail in financial reporting.
