Position: Sourcing Compliance Specialist (Senior and Level II)

Sr Sourcing Compliance Specialist

The Sr Sourcing Compliance Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing procurement compliance programs and initiatives, overseeing internal audits, ensuring vendor compliance, investigating potential violations, and providing guidance and training to procurement staff.

  • Develop and implement procurement compliance programs and initiatives: design and establish the framework for compliance, create new policies, procedures, and tools to ensure adherence to regulations and internal guidelines.
  • Conduct internal audits and risk assessments of procurement processes: evaluate procurement activities to identify non‑compliance, assess associated risks, analyze data, review documentation, and interview stakeholders.
  • Complete government Purchase Order compliance reviews and DCMA Small Business 640 reviews to maintain an approved purchasing system and acceptable government rating.
  • Manage and monitor vendor compliance: ensure external vendors and suppliers adhere to relevant regulations and the organization's compliance requirements through due diligence, contract reviews, and ongoing monitoring.
  • Investigate potential compliance violations and recommend corrective actions: identify breaches, determine root causes, and recommend appropriate solutions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Provide guidance and training to procurement staff and stakeholders on compliance matters: act as subject‑matter expert, offer advice, and develop and deliver training programs to enhance compliance awareness and understanding across the organization.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Sourcing Compliance Specialist II

The Sourcing Compliance Specialist II assists in implementing procurement policies, monitoring compliance, organizing documentation, supporting audits, and delivering compliance training.

  • Implement procurement/small business/government property policies and procedures.
  • Monitor procurement activities for adherence to regulations and internal policies.
  • Maintain and organize compliance‑related documentation.
  • Support audits by providing documentation and information.
  • Develop and deliver compliance training materials.
Key Skills
  • Understanding of procurement principles: founding knowledge of sourcing, negotiation, and contract management.
