Woodward is looking for a drafting professional to support design and manufacturing of energy control solutions. The role focuses on creating drawings, conducting stackup studies, and coordinating with other departments.
Key Responsibilities- Create 3D models of simpler designs and complex 2D drawings that meet acceptable drafting practices.
- Perform entry‑level linear stack‑up studies.
- Complete assigned tasks on schedule and coordinate details with other departments.
- Understand and apply fundamental GDT or its international equivalent at an intermediate level.
- Familiarity with manufacturing and assembly processes.
- Demonstrated commitment to quality and professionalism.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to process multiple types of information and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic organization and prioritization skills.
- Cooperative and collaborative teamwork ability.
- Problem‑definition, diagnosis, resolution, and timely decision‑making.
- Assist other drafters with tasks.
- Balance workload effectively on a day‑to‑day basis.
This position requires use of information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). All applicants must be U.S. Persons or be eligible to obtain all required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State and/or the U.S. Department of Commerce.
Benefits- Estimated annual base pay: $26.44k – $34.37k – $42.31k
