Elementary Special Education Teacher (LBS1)

Location:

Culver School - Niles School District 71, Niles, Illinois

Salary: $58,000 - $74,000+ depending on education and experience

Niles School District 71 is looking for a thoughtful and caring LBS1 special education teacher to join our team at Culver School. We are a small district with a strong sense of community, and we take pride in creating a supportive place for both students and staff. Our special education team works closely together, and our teachers are never expected to solve challenges on their own.

In this role you will:

* Provide specialized instruction for students with diverse learning needs

* Develop and implement IEP goals and track student progress

* Work closely with classroom teachers, service providers, and families

* Help students build both academic skills and confidence

* Be part of a collaborative team that problem solves together

Qualifications

* Illinois Professional Educator License

* LBS1 endorsement (or eligibility)

Salary/Benefits

Starting salary $58,000-$74,000+ depending on education and experience, with a strong benefits package including health, dental, and TRS pension participation.
