Position/Role
Summary:
A Paraprofessional supports certified teachers and/or related service personnel by assisting with instruction, daily living skills, and other activities that promote student independence. Paraprofessionals work with students who receive special education services across NTDSE therapeutic day school and satellite program settings.
Qualifications:
Illinois Paraprofessional License (ELSPARA) issued by the Illinois State Board of Education or eligibility to obtain one. Experience working with children or adolescents in educational, childcare, behavioral, or therapeutic settings preferred.
