Overview
LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently hiring a Project Engineer to join our client in Niles, IL. This direct hire opportunity is fully onsite. The Project Engineer will be responsible for all phases of product development for automotive filtration systems, including designing products, creating CAD models, ensuring quality standards, collaborating with cross-functional teams and acting as the technical liaison for the customer.
This role requires previous product design experience and familiarity with automotive quality standards and processes. The anticipated salary for this role is between $90,000-$110,000 a year
- Oversee all phases of product development
- Design and develop advanced filtration systems for automotive powertrain applications
- Create CAD models and engineering drawings
- Ensure designs meet quality standards
- Provide technical expertise and lead technical discussions
- Partner with program managers and internal stakeholders to meet deliverables
- Work closely with cross-functional teams
- Act as the primary liaison to the customer
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Proficient in Creo and Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of industry-specific testing standards and validation procedures
- Familiarity with automotive quality standards and processes
- 3-5 years of project engineering experience preferred
