2nd Shift Machinist ; M-F

• Set up, operate, and maintain machine types in an industrial setting with limited supervision.
• Perform required process checks or inspections per documentation, using computer programs to enter part data and log time.
• Use gauging equipment to ensure conformance to engineering specifications, clean and maintain measuring instruments, and inspect parts for cleanliness.
• Operate precision inspection equipment and perform first‑piece checks when required.
• Interpret and follow blueprints to complete production tasks, including routed operations of precision close‑tolerance parts.
• Complete paperwork and maintain record retention of inspection and production data.
• Apply basic Six Sigma tools and methodology to improve processes.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; at least one year of related work experience or an applicable trade‑school degree.
• Knowledge of inspection techniques and use of inspection tools such as micrometers, comparators, and gauges.
• Ability to read, interpret and use drawings, diagrams and blueprints to determine appropriate activities.
• Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, including perpendicularity, parallelism, flatness, datum structures, material condition and orientation tolerances.
• Basic knowledge of CNC programming/machining and ability to read, understand and edit basic programs.
• Basic written and verbal communication skills and computer skills.
• Detail orientation and willingness to follow work instructions.
• Position is subject to ITAR and EAR; applicants must be U.S. persons or possess required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Commerce.
