We're looking for a Brazing Tech / Panel Builder to join a leading manufacturer of industrial cooling and thermal management equipment. In this role, you'll work on the assembly of custom equipment used by manufacturers across a variety of industries. From brazing copper lines to assembling electrical panels and mechanical components, no two projects are exactly the same.
What You'll Do- Assemble industrial cooling equipment, chillers, and heat exchangers
- Perform copper brazing and soldering to ensure leak-free connections
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and assembly drawings
- Build and wire electrical control panels and related components
- Bend, route, and install copper tubing and piping
- Troubleshoot assembly and design issues alongside engineering teams
- Install and align mechanical and electrical components
- Rework or repair assemblies as needed to meet quality standards
- Conduct inspections and ensure products meet customer specifications
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
- Experience with brazing, soldering, or mechanical assembly
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Experience bending copper tubing or pipe preferred
- HVAC, refrigeration, electrical assembly, or panel-building experience is a plus

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Niles, IL.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $20.68 - $23.74/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
