Shape quality packaging overnight—one precise setup at a time
When your shift starts at 9:45 PM in Niles, IL, you’ll take the lead on modern folder‑gluer lines in a fast-paced manufacturing floor. You’ll scan the job ticket, dial in the machine, run quality checks, and keep production moving smoothly with your teammates—Feeders, Packers, and the production crew—so high-quality cartons ship out on schedule.
Your night at a glance
Own the setup:
Configure and operate folding/gluing equipment according to job specs.
Run to spec:
Review job tickets and production requirements before each run.
Guard quality:
Monitor output and make adjustments to maintain consistent standards.
Stay hands-on:
Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and handle routine maintenance.
Document clearly:
Complete accurate production paperwork and system entries.
Team with purpose:
Work closely with Feeders, Packers, and production leadership to optimize workflow.
Work the 5S way:
Keep your area safe, clean, and organized using 5S principles.
What sets you up for success
Required
Experience running folding and/or gluing machinery or strong mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting ability.
High school diploma or GED.Ability to read job tickets and production documentation.
Comfort working independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Preferred3+ years on folder‑gluer or similar finishing equipment.
Background in packaging, printing, or converting.
Basic computer proficiency.
Experience with production reporting systems.
Minor mechanical repair experience.
