DescriptionJob Purpose:
The Foil Stamping Operator at JOHNS BYRNE CO is responsible for operating and maintaining foil stamping equipment to produce high-quality printed materials. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues to ensure efficient production processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate foil stamping machines according to job specifications and production schedules. Inspect materials and products for quality assurance, ensuring that all output meets the company's high standards. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with the production team to ensure seamless workflow and timely completion of projects. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and operational protocols.
Record and report production data, including quantities, materials used, and any issues encountered during the process. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and enhance product quality, contributing to the company's commitment to excellence.
Required
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Required Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience operating foil stamping machines in a manufacturing environment. Proven track record of maintaining high-quality standards in production processes.
Experience with troubleshooting and resolving machine-related issues to minimize downtime. Required
Skills and Abilities:
Strong understanding of foil stamping techniques and materials. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Proficient in using measurement tools and performing quality checks. Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for quality and precision. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members. Basic computer skills for data entry and machine operation tracking.
