Job Purpose:

The Foil Stamping Operator at JOHNS BYRNE CO is responsible for operating and maintaining foil stamping equipment to produce high-quality printed materials. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues to ensure efficient production processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate foil stamping machines according to job specifications and production schedules.
  • Inspect materials and products for quality assurance, ensuring that all output meets the company’s high standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure seamless workflow and timely completion of projects.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and operational protocols.
  • Record and report production data, including quantities, materials used, and any issues encountered during the process.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and enhance product quality, contributing to the company’s commitment to excellence.
Qualifications Required

Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
Required Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience operating foil stamping machines in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven track record of maintaining high-quality standards in production processes.
  • Experience with troubleshooting and resolving machine‑related issues to minimize downtime.
Required

Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong understanding of foil stamping techniques and materials.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Proficient in using measurement tools and performing quality checks.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for quality and precision.
