The Foil Stamping Operator at JOHNS BYRNE CO is responsible for operating and maintaining foil stamping equipment to produce high-quality printed materials. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues to ensure efficient production processes.
Key Responsibilities- Set up and operate foil stamping machines according to job specifications and production schedules.
- Inspect materials and products for quality assurance, ensuring that all output meets the company’s high standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure seamless workflow and timely completion of projects.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and operational protocols.
- Record and report production data, including quantities, materials used, and any issues encountered during the process.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and enhance product quality, contributing to the company’s commitment to excellence.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating foil stamping machines in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of maintaining high-quality standards in production processes.
- Experience with troubleshooting and resolving machine‑related issues to minimize downtime.
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong understanding of foil stamping techniques and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Proficient in using measurement tools and performing quality checks.
- Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for quality and precision.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and machine operation tracking.
