Menswear Apparel Salesperson Full Time/Part Time
We are seeking a personable and fashion-savvy Menswear Salesperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fashion, a keen eye for detail, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction. In this role, you will greet customers, assist them in finding the perfect clothing items, ensure proper fit, and provide expert advice on current merchandise, fashion trends, and brands.
You will also contribute to merchandising efforts, store projects, and inventory management.
- Greet customers warmly and inquire about their needs and preferences.
- Assist customers in finding the perfect clothing items based on their size, style, occasion, and event timeline.
- Measure customers to ensure accurate fit for tailored clothing and formal wear.
- Demonstrate knowledge of current merchandise, fashion trends, and brand offerings.
- Upsell and cross-sell additional items, such as accessories and complementary clothing pieces.
- Assist with visual merchandising, including setting up displays and maintaining an organized, attractive store layout.
- Participate in store-related projects, such as promotional events and seasonal displays.
- Conduct merchandise stock counts and assist with inventory management.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and special requests.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment.
- Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in men’s or boy’s clothing.
- Strong understanding of fashion trends, styles, and brands.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to measure customers accurately for tailored clothing.
- A customer-focused mindset with a passion for helping others find the perfect outfit.
- Ability to upsell and cross-sell to enhance the customer’s shopping experience.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to store projects.
