Company OverviewGarvey's Office Products, a subsidiary of Office Depot, Inc., is seeking an energetic, friendly Warehouse Delivery Driver to join our team. The Delivery Driver will deliver customer orders in a productive, time‑sensitive, and customer‑centered manner.
Company vehicle provided. No CDL required. Paid training offered.
Employment Details- Full‑time position
- Hours:
Monday – Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm - Guaranteed 8 hours pay per day. Work 6 hours and get paid for 8.
- Location:
Garvey's North
Hours:
$22–$25 per hour; higher rates available for candidates with extensive experience.

- Deliver customer orders productively and on schedule.
- Demonstrate safety, quality, and operational expertise.
- Load, unload, and secure product to ensure customers receive clean, damage‑free merchandise.
- Deliver product to customer locations meeting established delivery goals.
- Collect and track customer returns within a specified timeframe.
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and in compliance with laws.
- Maintain responsibility for the vehicle and its contents.
- Complete daily route and all required paperwork.
- Communicate obstacles that prevent meeting goals.
- Complete daily pre‑ and post‑trip checklists.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and provide ideas using LEAN practices.
- Communicate customer feedback to sales and/or supervisory personnel.
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience, with experience in the delivery of small packages preferred.
- Accident‑free driving record over the past 36 months.
- Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). using POD or tablet device for product scanning.
- Knowledge of general maintenance and warehouse equipment.
- Effective verbal and written communication in English.
- Basic product knowledge.
- Knowledge of operation of power/mobile equipment.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Geographical knowledge of city limits and suburbs; downtown loop knowledge preferred.
- Ability to read and understand a map.
- Commitment to Core Values and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures.
- Ability to use manual pallet jacks to transport pallets up to 2,500 lbs.
- Ability to work in all types of weather conditions.
- Capacity for repetitive lifting of paper and continuous climbing in and out of vehicle.
- Ability to stand and be on feet for long periods, continuous walking, including stairs.
