We are hiring for the role of a part-time Custodian in the Parks and Recreation Department!
Work Schedule:
6:00 a.m.
- 11:00 a.m. Monday through Friday, with some weekends required. Up to 29 hours per week.
- Clean and maintain Parks buildings, restrooms, shelters, grounds, and other facilities.
- Prepare facilities and grounds for events/activities, including setting up/removing tables, chairs, and signage.
- Assist facility renters and event participants as needed.
- Inspect facilities after events and lock buildings as necessary.
- Perform minor building, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and other maintenance repairs.
- Inspect playground equipment to identify maintenance or repair needs.
- Operate mowers, trimmers, leaf blowers, trucks, and other equipment.
- Remove weeds, brush, litter, and storm-damaged trees from assigned areas.
