Purpose of Position:
Perform cleaning and minor maintenance in assigned clinic to maintain the facility in an aseptic condition as required. This position is key to enhancing patient care and employee health; accordingly all duties should be conducted in accordance with infection control policies and procedures for best practices.

• Wash and clean surface areas according to established specialized cleaning procedures, including waxing, stripping, shampooing, vacuuming, sweeping, and damp wiping.
• Empty trash, sort and dispose of contaminated and non-contaminated waste according to established procedures and Infection Control guidelines.
• Inspect equipment prior to each day for malfunctions, notify supervisor, and fill out a work request as required; clean equipment daily.
• Check fuel tank levels, boiler operation, and water systems; report any problems needing correction.
• Remove snow and ice from entrances to provide safe entry to the clinic.
• Report any major maintenance concerns, damage, or needed repairs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
