Essential Duties & Responsibilities
· Diagnose vehicle problems using diagnostic equipment and testing procedures.
· Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks.
· Repair or replace faulty components such as brakes, engines, transmissions, steering systems, and suspension parts.
· Conduct vehicle inspections and identify safety concerns.
· Explain repair needs and maintenance recommendations to customers.
· Maintain accurate service records and repair documentation.
· Follow safety procedures and manufacturer standards.
· Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized. Required (Minimum Necessary) Qualifications

Education Requirements:

High school diploma or GED preferred. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics
· Automotive technical training or vocational certification preferred.
· ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification is often preferred or required. Preferred
· Valid driver's license.
· Previous automotive repair experience preferred Necessary

· Standing for extended periods.
· Lifting parts and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds or more.

· Monday – Friday. Supervisory Responsibilities
· This position will not have supervisory responsibilities. DOT Covered/Safety-Sensitive Role Requirements
· This position does perform DOT “safety-sensitive” functions (as defined under 49 CFR Part 40) and is subject to all federal requirements related to Department of Transportation requirements for those performing, or on-call to perform, “safety-sensitive” functions. Employees must provide a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC). Additional Qualifying Factors As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable background check results.
