Responsibilities- Commission new distributed digital control systems on construction sites within planned timelines, documenting details and communicating deficiencies.
- Plan work with Lead Technician and Team Leader.
- Assist with data backup from servers, set up configuration of PC workstations, support troubleshooting and resolution of network functions and sequences.
- Verify network performance and conduct operational testing, including final inspection and acceptance.
- Provide routine written reports and submit as‑built drawings to engineering.
- Coordinate scheduling of trade contractors for startup services and submit accurate time and expense reports.
- Work overtime as required, support compressed schedules, and be available for rotational on‑call or minimal overnight travel.
- Adhere to local, corporate and OSHA safety policies and work as part of a team to support customers.
Basic
- 1+ year’s experience installing and servicing electronic control or HVAC equipment.
- Electro‑mechanical experience or relevant education and PC/software skills.
- Experience reading, understanding, and interpreting design and construction documents.
- Ability to work in varied environments (ladders, ducts, crawl spaces, roofs, basements, etc.) and use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, tablet, and carry equipment up to 75 lbs unassisted.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
- Age 18+, valid driver’s license with limited violations.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States indefinitely without sponsorship.
Preferred
- High school diploma or GED; associate or bachelor’s degree in electronics, mechanical engineering, or related field.
Compensation range: $49,195 – $84,334 annually, depending on experience, skills, location and budget. Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits.
