- Part-Time. We are currently seeking applicants for a part-time Food Service Worker to perform janitorial tasks and dishwashing. Assists with preparing food. The work schedule includes some weekends and holidays.

• Wash dishes, sweep and mop floors, and empty trash
• Bus and clean tables
• Clean kitchen and dining areas, refrigerators, cooking equipment, and bathrooms
• Assist with assembling food for serving lines
• Follow all procedures and safety regulations and promptly report accidents, critical incidents, and injuries
• Work as a team with others to ensure efficient program operation
• Other duties as assigned

The following qualifications represent the training, education, certifications, licensures, and/or work experience required to perform the essential duties and responsibilities successfully:

• Related experience preferred
• Clearance through criminal background investigation and pre-employment drug screening is required.
• Must be able to obtain a food handler card and have a qualifying disability

Physical demands:
Performing the duties of this job requires near visual acuity, the ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds, and gross manipulation. Additionally, the employee:

• Must be free of tuberculosis in a commu nicable form
• Must be able to exert considerable effort, frequently lifting/moving up to 50lbs, bending, reaching, and squatting
• Must be able to stand for four or more hours

Work environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will work primarily in a commercial kitchen with potential exposure to hazards typical to this environment. The noise level in the work environment is loud with frequent interruptions.
