- The Maintenance Technician provides full-time preventative maintenance, repairs, and grounds keeping for the various campuses of The Baby Fold. Availability for on-call duties required as needed.
- Location: 108
E. Willow St. Normal, IL and surrounding locations of The Baby Fold - Pay: $18.50/hr. minimum (Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, minimal call coverage), based on experience and relevant certifications/education.
- Maintenance: Ensures that agency facilities are maintained in good repair and working order. Performs routine maintenance and repair, painting, carpentry, plumbing, roofing, HVAC, and electrical services as assigned. Assists with building projects, remodeling, construction, and special projects as assigned. Provides rotating on-call services as a member of the maintenance team.
- Grounds: Maintains agency grounds by trimming and weeding, removing debris, ensuring equipment is well-maintained, and de-icing sidewalks as needed.
- Agency Vehicles:
Ensures vehicles are serviced and cleaned as needed. Provides maintenance checks as assigned. - Shipping and Receiving: Provides shipping and receiving support to departments in the agency, including moving and/or delivering large items to designated areas. Assists with loading and unloading trucks and moving furniture as needed.
- Facilities: Assists with room set up and tear down for meetings and special events as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Demonstrated maintenance experience.
- Valid Driver's license and personal vehicle with adequate auto insurance
18.50 per hour
