Groundskeeper​/Porter

Looking for consistent part-time work in Norman? University Partners is hiring a Part-Time Groundskeeper to help maintain the cleanliness, curb appeal, and overall appearance of our apartment community. This is a hands-on position with a consistent schedule and an opportunity to join a supportive property team.

The Porteris responsible formaintainingthe cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of the community grounds andcommon areas. This role supports maintenance operations through light maintenance tasks, trash management, and daily property inspections to ensure a clean and welcoming environment for residents, guests, and staff.

• Provide excellent customer service to residents, guests, employees, and vendors.
• Clean andmonitortrash and recycling areas to ensure cleanliness and prevent overflow.
• Maintain cleanliness of exterior common areas, breezeways, walkways, andamenity spaces.
• Remove debris, litter, and pet waste fromgroundsdaily.
• Assist with pressure washing of buildings, sidewalks, andcommon areasas directed.
• Perform minor landscaping tasks not covered by vendors.
• Assist with minor work orders such as drain clearing, door batteries, and garbage disposal resets.
• Assist with unit punch walks during move-in and move-out periods.
• Deliver notices, packages, or correspondence to residents when requested.
• Assist vendors and contractors working on-site.
• Report safety hazards and maintenance concernsimmediately.
• Maintain inventory awareness and notify supervisor when supplies are low.

• Strong attention to detail and pride in property appearance.

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to read and follow cleaning product instructions.
• Basic math and measurement skillsincludingmeasurement conversions, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

• Ability to work outdoors invaryingweather conditions.
• Ability to work under pressure including weekends and overtime as needed.
• Ability to lift and carry 10+pounds regularly.

• Less than high school education or equivalent experience preferred.
• Up to six months of groundskeeping, janitorial, or maintenance-related experience preferred.

• Valid driver’s license may berequiredbased on property operations.
