Cleaner, Cleaning Services

The North Attleborough Housing Authority owns and maintains several housing properties throughout the community. Its main office is located at 20 South Washington Street. The part‑time cleaner is a newly created position focusing on the common areas of three locations.

• Washes common area windows and mirrors.
• Takes out trash and removes litter from common areas.
• Wipes down and sanitizes surfaces.
• Cleans, sanitizes, and stocks common area restrooms.
• Sweeps, mops, and vacuums floors.
• Water plants and removes litter from interior common areas.
• Uses common cleaning products and tools.
• Organizes and stores all products and tools.
• Notifies Maintenance Supervisor when major repairs are needed.
• Fills out cleaning checklist at the end of every shift.
• Locks the doors during shifts.
• Follows safety rules and precautions.
• Adheres to company policies and procedures.

Work Hours and Benefits:
This position is part‑time at 19 hours per week Monday–Friday.

• Works well independently and has strong time‑management skills.
• Follows written and verbal instructions from supervisors.
• Collaborates with the rest of the maintenance department as needed.
• Handles the physical demands of the job, including standing and walking for most of the shift, bending, climbing, and lifting at least 50 pounds.
• Experience with tools of the trade including cleaners/chemicals.

• At least one year of professional cleaning experience is preferred.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
