Facility Maintenance Worker

Our part-time Stark State buildings, offices and classrooms clean, sanitary and in orderly condition. In this job you will play essential in ensuring that students enjoy well maintained and clean facilities while they're focusing on their studies. What you do matters here! Typical hours scheduled are Sunday through Thursday - 11:00 p.m.

- 4:00 a.m. Stark State Main Campus (6200 Frank Avenue, North Canton OH) Pay: $15.09 - $19.60/hour (based on experience), plus a $0.50/hour shift differential The positive energy at Stark State College comes from exceptionally dedicated employees who work hard for students. Typical responsibilities include:

• Maintain building cleanliness – all aspects of cleaning including floors, windows, walls, fixtures, restrooms, ceilings, furniture, whiteboards, trash and recycling removal.
• Perform routine light maintenance, room set ups and moving furniture.
• Floor care (buffing, stripping, and waxing), as requested. Use of environmentally approved products & equipment.
• May drive vehicle to move items from building to building, etc. as requested.

To be considered you'll need:
High School Diploma or GED, a valid Ohio driver's license and have an insurable record as defined by our agency. The ability to operate cleaning equipment and the ability to frequently carry up to 25 lbs. and lift 50 lbs. Outstanding benefits you can expect from Stark State:
