Join the Samaritan's Purse Rebuild Team as a Furniture Construction Worker and assist in recovery and rebuilding efforts after disasters. Your work will not only restore homes but also share Christ's love through service and partnership with communities in need.

A day in the life of a Furniture Construction Worker:

At Samaritan's Purse, the Gospel really is the center of all we do! We start each day with a time of devotions and spend time praying for each other, our staff and volunteers who serve around the globe.

In the role of a Furniture Construction Worker, you will have the opportunity to:

* Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him

* Work with a team to rebuild homes and replace furniture lost to natural disasters or other emergencies

* Collaborate with the Furniture Manager, volunteers, co-workers, and subcontractors to restore homes safely and effectively

* Provide safety and project training to team members

* Maintain security and quality standards during projects

* Communicate with homeowners and partners to keep them informed

* All other duties as assigned

Qualifications &

Experience:

* Strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ and commitment to living out a Christian witness

* Physical ability and experience to perform manual labor and follow safety protocols

* High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

* Valid drivers license required

Job Location:

North Wilkesboro, NC (daily travel required to our Western North Carolina rebuild sites)
