Jefferson Industries, the North American headquarters for G-TEKT Corporation, offers design and development of press dies and other tools for automotive products. We engage in product development programs including product design review and Advanced Product Quality Planning. Our facilities support high-quality product manufacturing and a timely, flexible approach to customer needs.

We are actively seeking an Apprentice to join Weld Maintenance on 3rd Shift (core schedule: Sunday through Thursday, 11:00 pm to 7:30 am).

• Clean fixtures using dry ice machine and general hand tools.
• Remove spatter buildup from fixtures and check cables for security.
• Grease robots as scheduled, perform robot backups, and replace batteries.
• Perform and support basic maintenance activities.
• Work with a Weld Maintenance technician to learn technical skills needed to develop into a Weld Maintenance Technician.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Weekly Pay.
• Additional $1.00 per hour at 5 and 10 years of service.
• Additional $0.50 per hour for 2nd or 3rd shift premium.
• Holiday Pay.
• Shutdown Pay – Summer (around July 4th) and Winter (around Christmas/New Year’s).
