Essential Functions
- Cleans assigned areas with cleaning solutions and disinfectants to prevent the spread of disease.
- Gathers and disposes of trash.
- Periodically polishes floors using buffing machine and polish.
- Strips and refinishes floors as necessary.
- Utilizes proper PPE for given duties.
- Assists other parts of the facilities team as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work EnvironmentStrenuous physical activity. Housekeepers are required to move around campus properties and work with cleaning chemicals. Housekeepers must always use proper protective equipment.
Position Type / Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Tuesday through Saturday, 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
