Tooling Maintenance Tech

Overview

The Tooling Tech will maintain and continuously improve mold tools in the manufacturing area. The role includes performing preventive maintenance, breakdown repair, cleaning, reassembly of injection molding tools, and evaluating and replacing damaged tooling. The position also involves storing tools securely, using blue wave to clean tools, and ensuring all activities are performed safely, including LOTO procedures when required.

• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) in the tool room.
• Break down, clean, repair, and reassemble injection molding tools.
• Maintain and use blue wave to clean tools.
• Evaluate and replace damaged tooling.
• Store tools and tooling in the storage racks.
• Conduct safety inspections of equipment and tooling prior to use.
• Perform all activities safely, including LOTO as required by company policy.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
