Positions: #123149 & #221804 (two positions).

• Perform physically demanding housekeeping duties in large academic, administrative, and athletic buildings.
• Clean and disinfect auditoriums, classrooms, laboratories, offices, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, stairways, athletics areas, and other campus areas.
• Operate heavy cleaning equipment, remove trash and recyclables, dust, change light bulbs, sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean bathrooms and other surfaces.
• Use cleaning chemicals safely and deliver supplies as needed.
• Unlock and lock buildings, operate equipment, and maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Maintain reliability and dependability to complete assignments in a timely manner.
• Work the 2nd Shift 4:00 pm‑12:30 am, Monday‑Friday with flexible adjustments, weekend and holiday work as required.
• Respond to after‑hours, weekend, and holiday emergencies as needed.

• Reliable and dependable with strong work ethic.
• Physically capable: lift a minimum of 50 pounds, use 6‑ft ladders, stand for long periods.
• Reliable transportation and able to work during all weather conditions; mandatory during adverse weather.
• Ability to understand and follow oral instructions and written materials such as labels and safety instructions.
• Effective interpersonal skills, able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Previous housekeeping or commercial floor maintenance experience or related training is preferred.
• Knowledge of large‑building cleaning practices and use of industrial cleaning equipment is an advantage.
• Valid North Carolina Driver’s License.
• Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Equivalent combination of education and experience, or directly related experience, or both. Demonstrated understanding of cleaning procedures, ability to follow instructions, and ability to perform medium to heavy physical work.

Base salary $35,456 per year, with benefits and a 10 % shift premium. Salary range $33,540 – $47,847.
