Facilities Coordinator

This position will be located 80% in Pittsboro, NC, and 20% in Carrboro, NC, or at other clinics statewide as needed. This position is responsible for managing program/operational facilities for the Carolina Living and Learning Center. The position serves as the primary contact for maintenance, grounds, motor fleet, security, and housekeeping issues, and is active in providing a proactive plan for addressing maintenance issues.

This position is also responsible for performing maintenance to the facility if it falls into the scope of simple repairs or the upkeep of the residential facilities and office space. In addition, this position will oversee the maintenance and related needs of our seven regional clinics across the state as well as our main TEACCH administrative office. This includes responsibility for coordinating any relocation of offices to another space and/or be liaison with the various property managers for leased spaced regarding maintenance needs.

Minimum

Education and Experience Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalency; or demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work. Optional Guidelines:
Experience in the trade(s) areas related to the area of assignment may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.

Management Preferences:
Prior experience working with autistic individuals is preferred.

Licenses/Certifications:

Position requires frequent movement to various buildings/locations, moving equipment/supplies, etc., and ability to perform maintenance repairs, with or without accommodation.
