Lead Maintenance Technician

Waste Management (WM) seeks a Lead Maintenance Technician to oversee maintenance of incinerator and auxiliary systems at a critical environmental services facility. In this hands-on role, you'll diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and combustion issues, coordinate PM schedules, and guide a small team of technicians. You'll ensure safe, reliable operation, support regulatory and emissions compliance, and minimize downtime. Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day maintenance and repair of incinerator and related plant systems
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and combustion issues
• Execute and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance plans
• Coordinate work orders and parts through a CMMSEnsure all work meets WM safety standards and OSHA requirements
• Support environmental and emissions compliance for incinerator operations
• Train and mentor maintenance technicians and operators
• Collaborate with operations to schedule maintenance and minimize downtime
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and documentation
