We are seeking a Housekeeper to join our Facilities team in North Wilkesboro, NC
. Through humanitarian work, the goal and purpose of Samaritan's Purse are to help people in Jesus' name and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

In the role of Housekeeper
,you will have the opportunity to:

Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ

Clean buildings, offices, and restrooms by sweeping, dusting, mopping, scrubbing, and caring for floors

Clean furniture, carpets, windows, blinds, doors, jambs, refrigerators, sinks, toilets, light fixtures, countertops, and windows.

Empty sanitary receptacles and remove trash from all buildings.

Assist with annual spring cleaning of all buildings.

Restock supplies and refill soap and tissue dispensers.

Other duties as assigned

Serve with Excellence

As a qualified candidate, you will have the following skills and experience:

High school diploma or GED and three (3) months related housekeeping experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

General knowledge of basic cleaning and ability to learn the Samaritan's Purse cleaning standards

Ability to solve simple problems that may arise during a workday

General knowledge of cleaning chemicals

General knowledge of housekeeping safety protocols

Samaritan’s Purse is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charity. All contributions designated for specific projects shall be applied to those projects, and we may assess up to 10 percent to be used for administering the gift. Occasionally, we receive more contributions for a given project than can be wisely applied to that project. When that happens, we use these funds to meet a similar pressing need.
