Maintenance Associate E&I

Position Title:

Electrical Instrumentation (EI) Maintenance Associate – New Bern, NC

$32.77/hr.

Hourly Full-Time

• Days (7am – 3pm Monday – Friday)

This position will assist journeymen-level electricians and instrumentation technicians in routine maintenance work as well as performing many duties independently. • At least 18 years of age
• Minimum high school graduate, GED, or equivalent work experience
• Eligible for employment in the US
• Must have one of the following:
  • One (1) year experience in any of the following Maintenance Skill Areas: INSTRUMENTATION, or ELECTRICAL
• OR
• Must be willing to meet the following requirements:
  • Work in industrial conditions (may be warm/hot, dusty/dirty, around hazardous chemicals, noise, heavy machinery, elevated working surfaces, and confined spaces (with proper safety training and safety protection)
  • Undergo technical online testing, interview, and a formal hands-on assessment of skills
  • Undergo a drug screen for illicit use of drugs as a condition of employment
  • Undergo a job-related health assessment as a condition of employment
  • Submit to periodic drug screens as a condition of employment
  • Work any shift and/or a rotating shift schedule
  • Work overtime on a regular basis and with last-minute notification
  • Work holidays and/or weekends on a regular basis
  • Wear required safety equipment

• Associates degree or certification(s) in Industrial Maintenance or other related disciplines within instrumentation/electrical.
• Relevant work experience in an industrial environment.
