Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Young Harris Ga. The Executive Chef is responsible for overseeing all culinary operations at Brasstown Valley Resort & Spa. Key responsibilities include menu planning, supervising food preparation, managing kitchen staff, sourcing high-quality ingredients, and ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards. The Chef will work to maintain the resort's reputation for exceptional dining and collaborate with management to implement innovative menu concepts that align with the resort’s commitment to quality and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications
  • Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation, and menu development.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills to inspire and oversee kitchen staff.
  • Experience in inventory management, sourcing ingredients, and cost control.
  • Commitment to upholding food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Exceptional time management, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Creativity and passion for bringing innovative culinary concepts to life.
  • Prior experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar leadership role in hospitality or fine dining.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional certification is preferred.
