Overview:The Non-Hazardous Liquid Waste Grease Plant Operator maintains the operational efficiency of the plant by executing properly sequenced operations to facilitate fluid operations as well as maintaining and completing preventative maintenance requirements.
Responsibilities:- Perform complete inspection including but not limited to checking pump inspection, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls
- Monitor the entire process of receiving processing and dispatching material
- Climb in and out of the sludge box to perform cleaning procedures between batch processes
- Use hand controls to operate pumps and hose
- Use a pump hose and water hose to pump grease out of the holding tank and other commercial tanks. Clean/rinse tanks with a water hose
- Maintain safe operation and clean appearance of the plant by complying with organization operational policies, procedures, and standards, as well as state and local driving rules and regulations
- Clean sludge box interior
- Submit all paperwork on a scheduled timeframe to the admin
- Wash exterior and interior of the plant on a bi-weekly basis
- Perform additional duties as assigned
