Electrical Maintenance Technician

The Electrical Maintenance Technician will maintain, service, troubleshoot and repair electrical systems used in utilities and facilities areas. They will be required to work on a variety of electrical equipment ranging from lighting systems to power distribution, and motors.

• Perform troubleshooting and repairs on all commercial and industrial equipment.
  • Examples:
    • Variable Frequency Drives
    • Motors and Controls
    • Power Distribution Systems
    • Lighting Management Systems
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks on a large variety of equipment including infrared scanning and static bonding and grounding.
• Communicate status of ongoing work activities through email, voicemail and the maintenance management system (Maximo).
• Work with voltages up to 13,200 V and must have experience with 480 V.
• Complete all necessary training requirements including scheduled training, computer‑based training and any other training identified in the development plan.
• Develop techniques as necessary to ascertain that newly acquired or developed equipment performs in accordance with required specifications, assist in establishing and documenting appropriate job plans and other service protocols that may be required.
• Ensure that GxP and safe work policies and procedures are followed and always maintained in accordance with established company policies.
• Other responsibilities and duties as assigned by Group Leader, Supervisor, or SR Supervisor.

• Knowledge and ability to use basic power tools and apply proper hand and measuring tools in an industrial setting.
• HS diploma with 5+ years of experience OR relevant certificate with 3+ years of experience OR associate technical degree with 1+ year of experience.

Compensation range:
The range described here is the possible base pay that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of posting based on the job grade. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location. This range may be modified in the future.
