Maintenance Technician III; Wed-Sat

Job Description

Independently perform Senior level technical support within the maintenance department. Trains lower-level Technicians on more advanced tasks.

• Adhere to Abb Vie’s code of conduct; maintain the function of department assets to ensure reliable equipment and quality standards are met.
• Assist in root cause investigation and reliability‑centered maintenance analysis; be capable of training others on tasks.
• Be proficient in multiple skilled trade disciplines and create or edit maintenance job plans.
• Have intermediate computer skills (MS Windows).
• Be fully proficient in core functions, performing advanced level tasks.
• Assist cross‑functional teams outside of the maintenance organization.
• Support continuous improvement projects and safety initiatives within the maintenance organization and/or the site.
• Understand and follow all safety and GMP regulations.

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 10+ years of experience or a relevant certificate with 5+ years of experience, or an associate's technical degree with 3+ years of experience, or proficiency in two or more skilled maintenance functions. CMRT (Certified Maintenance and Reliability Technician) or equivalent accreditation desired.
• Knowledge and ability to use advanced tools (e.g., machine tools, diagnostic tools, predictive tools). Intermediate computer skills (MS Windows). Electrical experience up to 480V is a plus.
• Relevant experience in pharmaceutical packaging or GMP environment is preferred.

• The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
