School Custodial Cleaner

Position: SCHOOL CUSTODIAL CLEANER
ABM Industries -  - Responsibilities:
Clean and maintain assigned area including classrooms, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, and stairways;
Sweep, remove debris, clean spills, and mop floors in designated areas;
Regularly check trash receptacles and empty as needed;
Follow procedures for use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage;
Notify lead cleaner or manager regarding repairs or additions to building systems;
Maintain communication with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, and managers;
Collect, consolidate, and separate recycling into proper receptacles;
Dust desks, chairs, tables, fixtures, doors, sills, floors, ceilings, and walls; polish hard surfaces;
Wipe and clean tabletops, chairs, and equipment in food areas;
Move cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates and equipment to clean areas as needed;
Clean interior partition glass, windows, mirrors using cleaners and squeegees;
Sweep walks, rake leaves, cut grass, remove snow or perform seasonal tasks;
Maintain cleanliness of restrooms and comply with safety and quality standards
