The General Labor, plays an important role in ensuring that the operations of the coop’s facility are effective and efficient so products and services can be provided in a manner that adds value to the member.

This position as an Agronomy Team Member and reports to the Agronomy Location Manager.

• 40% Machinery & Equipment - Operates equipment designed for the handling of bulk fertilizer, seed and chemical (i.e. forklift, payloader, bobcat, etc.). Performs operational duties in all areas of the premises including, but not limited to: regular organizing and upkeep of warehouse facilities and minor repair and maintenance of equipment.
• 40% Performs operational duties in all areas of the premises including, but not limited to: regular organizing and upkeep of warehouse facilities and minor repair and maintenance of equipment.
• 20% As a member of the Legacy team, team members will be asked to work with others in areas outside of their department and assist when needed.

• High school diploma or GED
• Basic computer and data entry skills
• 1 year working with heavy equipment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

• 1 year of agricultural cooperative or agricultural experience.
• 1 year of Agronomy experience.
• Commercial driver’s license (Class
  
  A) or ability to obtain commercial driver’s license within 30 days.
• HAZMAT, Tanker, and Air Brake endorsements or ability to obtain within 30 days.
