Inspects a large variety of heavy-duty mobile equipment and automotive vehicles to determine repairs and assess condition.;
Inspects complex interrelated mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic and electrical systems and components while in operation or standby.;
Uses specialized testing methods and equipment to ensure tolerance and safety factors are met.;
Prepares lists of needed repairs, parts, and man-hours and certifies equipment condition.;
Performs in-process and final inspections to ensure repair work meets requirements and quality standards.
