Job description -

Asthe maintenance worker, you will be responsible for maintaining the cosmeticappearance and the mechanical function of the resort buildings and grounds, inboth the interior and exterior of the property. The ideal candidate will have experience and knowledge in a wide range of hotel up keeping. The technician will complete work orders assigned by the supervisor while following safety regulations and respecting guests.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to -

• Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenanceproblems/safety hazards
• Performs maintenance and repairs with a minimum of guest disturbance
• Replacement of light fixtures, fixing drywall/ wallpaper, painting
• Repairing of broken or leaking plumbing to avoidwater damage and restore full use of water fixtures; other light plumbing work asneeded
• Working on damaged electrical wiring when ashortage or severed wire occurs, along with other light electrical work
• Ability to diagnosis HVAC matters, upkeep and resolve simple matters
• Appliance, furniture, and fixture repairs asneeded
• Completes all work orders in a timely and detailed manner per company program standards
• Execution of scheduled preventative maintenance
• Maintains all storage areas and work spaces in a clean, safe and secure manner

Requirements -

• Available to worka flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
• Previous experience in a similar field
• Able to work independently
• Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical skills, preventive maintenance procedures, and reasonable understanding of building equipment and hand tools
