Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Pool Technician to join our team at Pinch A Penny in North Palm Beach. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining and enhancing our customers' pool experiences by providing top-notch service and expertise. Your contributions will directly support our mission of delivering quality pool care and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough pool cleaning services to ensure optimal water quality.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients.
- Identify pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators, that are in need of repair.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed on each pool, including chemical balances and services performed.
- Adhere to safety protocols while working with chemicals and equipment in various weather conditions.
Experience
- Previous experience as a service technician or in a related field is preferred, but not required.
- Familiarity with pool cleaning techniques and chemical balancing is preferred.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team while maintaining high standards of service quality.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
Physical and Other Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- No DUI/Driving Tickets in prior 5 Years
- Must have a high degree of stamina for physical labor, with the ability to work in high degrees of heat and adverse weather conditions.
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds repetitively and often.
- Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, stretch and climb repetitively and often.
- Must be able to operate a motor vehicle.
- Must be able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Must have the ability to work around chlorine without an allergic reaction.
