Key Responsibilities- Inspect, test, and perform portable checks in accordance with fire code.
- Identify code and system deficiencies and prepare accurate, timely inspection reports.
- Ensure all portable inspections are completed promptly, accurately, and thoroughly.
- Download inspection data and generate completed reports.
- Participate in monthly team meetings.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including vehicles, safely and in compliance with safety regulations and manufacturer instructions.
- Adhere to company safety procedures, including driver safety and personal protective equipment.
- Stay current with code requirements and industry changes.
- Remain current on standards for the inspection and testing of fire protection systems.
- Perform other duties assigned by management.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
2+ years of portable experience required.
Proficiency with test equipment: sensitivity test equipment, multi‑meters, battery analyzers, sound‑level meters, and communication devices.
Reliable transportation to and from the office or job site.
Other Duties &Physical Requirements
Adhere to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Physical requirements include standing, walking, using hands, reaching with arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, lifting or moving heavy objects, balancing, climbing, grasping, hearing, mental acuity, pulling, pushing, repetitive motion, speaking, talking, and visual acuity.
