The Welfare Area Sanitation Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall condition oftheir assigned welfare area(s), which may include restrooms, locker rooms, break rooms, smoking areas, and other employee spaces. Each attendant is expected to take ownership and accountability for the condition oftheir area throughout the shift. At times, attendants may be reassigned to cover other welfare areas as needed to support vacations, absences, or operational requirements.

Heavy cleaning tasks, including scrubbing windows, may be required  addition, this role helps support food safety and facility standards by addressing improper use of welfare areas by Team Members.

• Take ownership of assigned welfare area(s) by ensuring they remain clean, sanitary, and fully stocked throughout the shift, while providing coverage for other areas as directed when absences or business needs arise.
• Restock supplies as a top priority, including soap, paper towels, toilet paper, PPE, and cleaning materials, to ensure availability for Team Members throughout the shift.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary environment in all assigned welfare areas, including restrooms, locker rooms, break rooms, common spaces, and smoking areas.
• Perform routine cleaning such as sweeping, mopping, wiping surfaces, emptying trash, and disinfecting high-touch areas.
• Empty trash receptacles regularly in all welfare and smoking areas, and take trash outdoors to designated collection points.
• Conduct periodic deep-cleaning tasks such as scrubbing floors, walls, or windows, and other fixtures.
• Scrub windows and glass surfaces to maintain clear visibility and a sanitary environment.
• Monitor locker rooms and welfare areas to ensure compliance with facility guidelines, including addressing Team Members who bring in gloves, frocks, or other items that do not belong in these areas.
• Respond promptly to cleaning needs, supply shortages, or facility concerns reported by Team Members or supervisors.
• Operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning chemicals safely in accordance with company procedures and training.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and regulatory guidelines while performing duties.
• Assist with other cleaning or facility support tasks as directed.

• Previous janitorial, housekeeping, or sanitation experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform heavy cleaning tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a safe and sanitary environment.
• Ability to respectfully address Team Members about compliance with facility guidelines.
• Must be dependable and demonstrate accountability for assigned tasks, while being flexible to cover other areas when required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to facility needs.

• Work performed primarily indoors in welfare areas of the facility, with routine outdoor duties for trash disposal and smoking area upkeep.
• Exposure to cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• May require working evenings, weekends, or overtime as needed.
