Whatthis job involves:
Join our facilities team at JLL as a Building Support Technician, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and professional environment for building occupants and visitors. This hands‑on position combines daily building maintenance, custodial services, and operational support to ensure our facilities operate at peak condition. You'll work collaboratively with property management, union employees, and mailroom staff while maintaining the high standards that define JLL's commitment to exceptional facility operations.

- Conduct daily exterior property inspections, collecting litter and trash to maintain a professional building appearance and ensure safety for all occupants.
- Service and clean restrooms twice daily (morning and afternoon), ensuring proper supply levels and maintaining hygiene standards throughout the facility.
- Clean building floors, windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate equipment and cleaning solutions, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming as needed.
- Perform light building maintenance tasks and conduct monthly inspections of all mechanical and electrical rooms to identify and remove trash or debris.
- Set up conference rooms according to client specifications and provide support to National Grid union employees with maintenance tasks as needed.
- Assist mailroom operations by moving and delivering packages throughout the building, providing backup coverage for the mailroom clerk during absences.
- Mix cleaning solutions according to specifications and follow proper procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
- High school diploma or equivalent education credential.
- Demonstrated ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences, ensuring proper task completion.
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly convey information and ideas so others will understand.
- Physical capability to perform manual labor including lifting packages, pushing cleaning equipment, and conducting rounds throughout the facility.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals, solutions, and equipment operation with commitment to following safety procedures.

Estimated compensation for this position: 45,000. USD per year
