Senior Staff Accountant

Quickset Defense Technologies, LLC, located in Northbrook IL, is searching for a Senior Accountant to join the business. The company designs and manufactures precision positioners, integrated surveillance networks and assemblies for military, security, industrial and commercial customer applications.

The Staff Accountant will report directly to the Controller of the company and will become an integral part of our organization.

• Perform monthly and year end close.
• Monthly account reconciliations of balance sheet accounts including accounts receivable, accounts payable and accruals.
• Assist with daily invoicing, posting of cash receipts and cash disbursements.
• Assist with bi-weekly ADP payroll.
• Assist with Account Receivable collection calls.
• Prepare salesmen commission reports.
• Perform other related accounting responsibilities as required by the Controller.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• Five years of accounting experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Microsoft Office proficiency a must including above average experience in Excel.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Highly detail orientated with attention to accuracy.
