Our client, a rapidly growing real estate investment firm is seeking a detail-oriented Property Accountant to join its expanding team in the Northbrook area. This is an on-site opportunity for a motivated Property Accountant who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and wants strong visibility and growth potential.

• Manage property-level general ledgers, journal entries, and cash-basis accounting.

• Perform bank reconciliations and oversee AP/AR for multiple properties.

• Prepare monthly financial reports and support audit processes.

• Partner with property managers and leadership on reporting and special projects.

• 2–10 years of accounting experience in real estate or property management.

• Experience with cash-basis accounting and high-volume transactions.

• Previous experience with Yardi accounting software.

• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple properties simultaneously.
