Salary Range: $75,000–$110,000 annually
We are looking for an experienced Accountant/FP&A professional to support general accounting operations, financial planning and analysis, and costing activities. This position requires someone who has worked in a high-volume accounting environment and has processed, reviewed, or reconciled thousands of financial transactions.
The successful candidate will have excellent analytical skills, a thorough knowledge of accounting principles, and the ability to create, maintain, and analyze financial reports, forecasts, and complex financial models. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex financial models, Pivot Tables, Power Query, INDEX-MATCH, XLOOKUP, nested IF statements, and other advanced formulas are preferred. At least three years of relevant experience is required, and experience within a manufacturing environment is preferred.

- Process and verify a high volume of financial transactions.
- Analyze and reconcile expense and revenue accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Assist with all tasks associated with the monthly accounting and closing cycle.
- Identify errors and recommend ways to improve efficiency, accuracy, and spending.
- Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

- Prepare, maintain, and analyze financial models, forecasts, and performance reports.
- Perform periodic operational-metrics analysis and KPI tracking.
- Perform inventory variance analysis and inventory-value calculations.
- Conduct deep-dive reviews of profit and cost centers, highlighting key drivers, trends, and unusual activity.
- Identify the root causes of financial variances and work with the appropriate departments to resolve issues.
- Analyze margin variances, key operating statistics, price-and-volume variances, and monthly operating results.
- Organize and analyze large amounts of financial data and clearly present the results.
- Work cross-functionally with company departments on reporting and financial-analysis requirements.
- Support cost-accounting and reporting requirements across the organization.
- Analyze material, labor, overhead, inventory, and other manufacturing-related costs.
- Review cost allocations and cost variances for accuracy.
- Maintain accurate costing information within the company’s ERP system.
