Compensation for this role is $45,000–$50,000. The role may also be eligible for bonus or commission pay. Actual compensation may vary due to factors such as experience and skill set.
As a Key Account Manager at RXOYou will serve as the primary point of contact and relationship manager for our most important intermodal and drayage clients, ensuring seamless execution across complex supply chains.
What your day-to-day will look like:- Serve as an advocate and liaison for RXO's top intermodal and drayage clients, ensuring consistent communication, visibility, and overall customer satisfaction
- Expand existing customer accounts through strategic relationship development and mode-specific solutions
- Collaborate with operations, procurement, and carrier partners to secure competitive terms, including rate negotiations, capacity alignment, and specialized equipment needs (containers, chassis, rail, etc.)
- Maintain a strong understanding of intermodal and drayage networks, including port operations, rail providers, and inland distribution, to proactively meet client needs
- Manage shipments cradle-to-grave, ensuring execution, milestone tracking, and issue resolution across port, rail, and final-mile delivery
- Ensure the integrity of each shipment and the RXO brand by following standard processes and best practices
- Update internal systems and tracking tools throughout the day to maintain accurate reporting, visibility, and performance metrics
- Monitor billing accuracy, accessorials, and cost controls to ensure efficient and mutually beneficial operations
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
- 1+ year of professional experience
- 5+ years of experience in a transportation or logistics environment, preferably with intermodal and drayage exposure
- Strong understanding of port operations, rail networks, and containerized freight movement
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
