This role is pivotal in driving Business-to-Business (B2B) sales growth and expanding our business relationships within the designated region. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B sales, and a strong ability to develop and nurture business partnerships. Through account leadership and new account development, they will drive growth and develop marketing strategies. They will ensure strategic, long-term profitable growth and increased market share.

This will be achieved through creating and tracking performance to a strategic business plan for the market.

A day in the life of a Regional Sales Manager
  • Developing and executing strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand customer base in the region
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and lead generation
  • Building strong client / relationships and rapport with customers providing excellent customer service and maintaining relationships with the customer base
  • Preparing financial forecasts and planning with marketing plans
  • Acting as a Subject Matter Expert on sales opportunities
  • Effectively managing a multi-million-dollar business portfolio, driving revenue growth and profitability
  • Expanding customer relationships and respond decisively to changes in market
  • Making recommended changes cross functionally by evaluating results and competitive trend developments
  • Navigating complex corporate environments and engaging stakeholders at all levels to achieve buy-in and support
What you'll bring to the table
  • Exceptional communication skill set - including presentation, business writing and advanced interpersonal skills
  • Strong project management skills - ability to manage multiple projects
  • Financial proficiency and analytical skills
  • Proven track record for obtaining business results through the development of effective internal relationships across multiple business functions
  • Excellent negotiation skills and strong analytical / strategic mindset - ability to analyze and deliver relevant information
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
We'd love to hear from you if you have
  • 5+ years proven client/vendor relationship management and sales development skills
  • Experience in the B2B sales environment
  • 4 year university degree
  • Experience developing presentations and pitching to all levels of management
  • Demonstrated success in growing and developing business relationships that drive revenue growth
  • Proficiency with Google
